Description:
Illustration of the human skeletal system, without arms. The muscular structure of the calves is demonstrated partially, and the soles of the feet in detail. This is the last of the tables showing the body from the back. It is a reprint of a plate made for the Bauman Anatomia Deudsch of 1551 (it copies Geminus 1545). It is ultimately derived from page 208 of Vesalius 1543.
