View of muscular system of a man from behind in a "self-demonstrating" pose. The third plate in the series of muscles demonstrated from the back. It is a reprint of a plate made for the Bauman Anatomia Deudsch of 1551 (it copies Geminus 1545). This is a composite plate that ultimately derives from pages 200 and 201 of Vesalius 1543.
