Description:
This appears to be a new plate showing the interior of the front of the skull formed by the two frontal bones (A, A) separated by the ethmoid (B and G in the plate). D seems to be the crista galli; and C, C are the cribriform plates of the ethmoid bone through which filaments of the olfactory nerve pass from the nasal cavity to the brain.
