Description:
Dissection of the human eye and a table of surgical instruments used in dissection. ( Note: erroreous position of lens in 'prima' See notes on the original images in Vesalius, 1543). Below: instruments for carrying out dissection and a pig attached to a board in preparation for vivisection. This is a composite plate that derives from pages 643, 644, 235 and 661 of Vesalius 1543. It is a later state of the plate in Geminus 1552, ai0083.
