Horizontal sectins through cranium at two levels. (Below) interior of bas of skull (XXI); sphenoid bone (XXIII) Part of temporal bone (XXIII). Inside of calvarium (skull-cap) (XXII). The upper part of this plate is a composite derived from pages 609 and 610, and the lower part is a composite derived from pages 24, 25 and 33 of Vesalius 1543. It is a later state of the plate in Geminus 1552, ai0082.
