Dissection of a man's rib cage, with a dissection of the lungs, separate figures of the heart and lungs. This plate is made up from two copper plates bolted together. This is a composite plate that derives from pages 559, 560, 561, 562, 563, 564, 565, 566, 567 and 568 of Vesalius 1543. It is a later state of the plate in Geminus 1552, ai0078.
