Details of the female reproductive system. 9. Vagina with opened uterus (see note on original in record 378; Vesalius 1543, p481). This is a composite plate that derives from pages 477, 478, 480, 481, and 482, of Vesalius 1543, plus one detail (marked 'quarta') identical to one element on the plate following f.iv in Geminus. NB - folded leaf. It is a later state of the plate in Geminus 1552, ai0077. This plate is made up of two copper plates bolted together. It is a composite plate that derives from pages 405 and 411 of Vesalius 1543. It is a later state of the plate in Geminus 1552, ai0065. This plate is made up of two copper plates bolted together.
