Description:
Full length figure from the front, showing the veins. This plate is a composite, the figures on the left of the plate ultimately derive from a leaf inserted after page 412 of Vesalius 1543 and the figure on the right is perhaps derived from a leaf inserted before page 415 of the same book (this leaf is missing in the EUL copy). There is strong relationship between the Valverde and the Geminus plate inserted after F.iv. (See Valverde 1559:ai0039, the plate is the same but selectively refreshed).
