Description:
Complete figure showing the blood vessels from the front. This is a composite plate that ultimately derives from pages 368 and 377 of Vesalius 1543. Note that in Vesalius these plates are part of book III, not of book VI, as in Valverde. Note also the inclusion of a diagram of different hatching systems at the bottom right of the plate. In this case there is no relationship with Geminus (see Geminus 1552, plate inserted after E.v verso). (See Valverde 1559:ai0036, the plate is the same but selectively refreshed).
