Description:
Different views of the heart, plus a male figure with his hands in the chest of another male figure! This is a composite plate that ultimately derives from pages 559, 560, 561, 562, 563, 564, 565, 567 and 568 of Vesalius 1543. The two figures from Vesalius' pages 559 and 560 are here combined into a "anatomy lesson." There is no corresponding image in Geminus. (See Valverde 1559:ai0031, the plate is the same but selectively refreshed).
