Description:

This plate illustrates a dissection of the neck and shows the bones and muscles of the male pelvis. This is a composite plate ultimately deriving in part (and in reverse) from pages 256 and 325 of Vesalius 1543.There is a clear relationship with the plate inserted after E.iv in Geminus 1552. The bottom half of the plate has two added figures (XVIII and XIX), that don't appear in the equivalent plates of Vesalius or Geminus. (See Valverde 1559:ai0024, the plate is the same but selectively refreshed).
