Standing man, from the back, progressive dissection, stage five. This plate is ultimately derived (in reverse) from page 206 in Vesalius 1543. Note the differing treatment of the calf and foot fragment in the two plates, a feature which Valverde clarifies. [f77 recto]. (See Valverde 1559:ai0021, the plate is the same but selectively refreshed).
