The cartilages of the larynx. Figs III, IV, V are of the 'first' - the thyroid- cartilage. Figs VI, VII, VII are of the 'second' - cricoid - cartilage. For further details of the complex structures of the larynx see a modern anatomy text. XIV and XV are anterior and posterior views of a tracheal ring.
