Dissection of a man's rib cage, with a dissection of the lungs. Separate figures of the heart and lungs. This plate is made up from two copper plates bolted together. This is a composite plate that derives from pages 559, 560, 561, 562, 563, 564, 565, 566, 567 and 568 of Vesalius 1543. NB - this leaf is folded and has been bound upside down.
