Figures relating to the kidneys and urinary tract. This is a composite plate that derives from pages 470, 471, 472 and 474 of Vesalius 1543 (see Geminus 1552:ai0075). The engraving of XIX is separate from the rest of the plate to which it is visibly attached by rivets.
