Description: 
In figure 8 the tentorium cerebelli has been reflected and the anterior half of the cerebral hemispheres sectioned horizontally at a slightly lower level. Figure 9 is very similar to the previous one, but the cerebellum has been displaced forwards to expose the inferior aspect of the lateral lobes. They are ultimately derived from pages 613 and 614 of Vesalius 1543.
