Description: 
Figure 6 differs very little from the fourth figure in the seventh book, however, the anterior pillars of the fornix have now been severed and the body reflected dorsally on the posterior crura to expose the great vein of Galen draining the vesels of the tela choroidea. In figure 7 the third ventricle has now been exposed and the posterior part of the hemispheres cut away. They are ultimately derived from pages 610 and 611 of Vesalius 1543.
