Description: 
The third figure in the sequence of the dissection of the brain. The fourth figure in the sequence of dissection shows the horizontally-sectioned surfaces of the right and left hemispheres, note the lateral ventricles, and to the side, the cut surface of the upper portion of the left hemisphere whicj has been lifted off [like the top of a boiled egg]. They are ultimately derived from pages 607 and 608 of Vesalius 1543.
