Description: 
In the fourth figure the pericardium has now been cut to expose the superior vena cava, the aorta, the pulmonary artery, the auricles and the ventricles. Figure 5 shows the heart and the lungs freed from their covering. In figure 6, the left side of the heart is shown. They are ultimately derived from pages 562, 563 and 564 of Vesalius 1543.
