Description:
|
The sixteenth figure shows the stomach unattached from the oesophagus and turned inside out enabling its interior aspect to be seen, the seventeenth figure shows the three coats of the stomach:the serosa, the muscularis and the submucosa. The eighteenth figure is an illustration of the liver, repeated from the third book, the nineteenth figure consists of four diagrams showing the spleen from various aspects.
