Description:
|
This is part of the same book of plans as images 00002375-2376, and 00002377. They were drawn by the Earl of Mar himself, while in exile in France, after the failure of the 1715 Stuart Rising. This shows the elevation of front of Alloa House. A female figure in a red dress has been drawn in a window projecting from the roof on the right hand side. While a note in the bottom right hand corner 'Designed Sept. 1727', the note under the flap says 'Spaa August 1730'.
