Description:
This is a rough sketch plan of Kelly Castle and its grounds, in Arbirlot, Angus, done in pencil and now very faint. There is no date on it, but it has been assigned to the 18th century. It shows three entry roads with their gates, the house with its 'old planting', woods, an avenue and park, and the 'New plantation'. In the north of the map is the Eliot Water (not named), with some kind of enclosure marked on its north bank, and possibly a bridge over the water.
