This map is from an edition of 'The shires of England and Wales described by Christopher Saxton ...', with the addition of some new maps, including this one of Scotland. It is a very close copy by Lea of Robert Gordon's Scotia Regnum, first published by Blaeu in 1654, the original names being indistinguishable from those in the Blaeu map, but there are several additional names in Lea's type-style.
