Description:
|
This is a coloured copy of the right side of the plan in image 00002872, with a scale bar added to the scale statement, so it is either the contemporary finished version, or a later copy. It shows Andrew Frazer's plans for improving the pier at Fort George, Ardersier, with elevation and section. Frazer's plans for the pier were, in his absence, altered in the construction stage by a Major Marr, which was to cause some problems for Charles Shipley two years later, as is mentioned on Shipley's plan in image 00003226.
