Description:
Shows plans of building works at the entrance of Edinburgh Castle. This appears to be a copy of Dugal Campbell's 'Plan of the works on the entrance of the castle of Edinbo.', made in 1742, Shelfmark MS.1645.Z.02/04a. It lacks the note about Dugal Campbell's letter from the original, (the original plan was previously copied by James Anderson, in 1799, Shelfmark MS.1645.Z.02/04b, with the note about Dugal Campbell's letter retained). It also lacks the Board of Ordnance reference number.
