Description:
This plan of Edinburgh Castle is unsigned and undated, but it appears to be an English version of the Thomas Moore plan in image 00001702, which is written in French. It has a complete plan of Edinburgh Castle, with buildings letter-coded and explained, and an artistic depiction of the cliffs on either side of the castle, and within its walls; the upper part of High Street is also shown in plan, but not labelled, as well as the path leading to it, and paths down the cliffs. There is a later copy of the French version, done in the Tower of London Drawing Room, by Robert Roe, in image 00002616.
