The sheet has two inset panels, as well as the main body of the map. The inset at the top right contains a plan of Peterhead harbour, while the smaller inset at bottom left contains the dedication to the inhabitants of Peterhead by William Moir, and the names of the surveyor and draughtsman, John Jaffray, and the enrgaver, Richard Cooper.
