Description:
This sheet is a copy of the sheet of sections at shelfmark MS.1647.Z.02/64b. The pencil note '[M. Read 1795]' on the bottom of the sheet might probably indicates that it was copied in 1795, in which case the copyist would have been William Read, who was a draughtsman in the Tower of London from 1794 to 1795. The original sheet of sections, at shelfmark MS.1647.Z.02/64b, accompanies the plan at shelfmark MS.1647.Z.02/64a, another sheet of sections at shelfmark MS.1647.Z.02/64d, and two maunscript pages of Lewis Marcell's estimates for the work at shelfmark MS.1647.Z.02/64e, all of which were received by the Board of Ordnance, in London, in 1746.
