This is a copy of the plan at shelfmark MS.1646.Z.02/34a, which could be contemporary with the original. The handwriting may not be that of John Romer. The sheet is in two parts. The left hand part shows a map of the town of Inverness and part of the River Ness, with a plan of Fort George. The right hand part shows elevations and sections of the main entrance to the fort, the chapel and the sally port.
