This sheet is in two parts. The left hand part shows a map of the town of Inverness and part of the River Ness, with a plan of Fort George. The right hand part shows elevations and sections of the main entrance to the fort, the chapel and the sally port. It is signed by John Romer. There is a copy at shelfmark MS.1646.Z.02/34b, which may be contemporary, but may be in a different hand.
