Plan of the vaults and floors of parts of Edinburgh Castle, including the houses for the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Fort Major, Chaplain, officers of the Invalids, as well as the arsenal and barracks, with elevations. This plan is part of a set of at least four done originally by Charles Tarrant. One at shelfmark MS.1645.Z.02/14a is the companion to this one, and one at shelfmark MS.1645.Z.02/14c shows buildings scheduled to be built in 1755. The fourth only exists as a copy done by Alfred Rae, at a later unknown date, and is at shelfmark MS.1645.Z.02/15.
