Description:

One of a set of four plans of Stirling Castle, the others being 00002679, 00002680 and 00002682. This plan has been signed by Thomas Moore. There is an unsigned set of plans of Stirling Castle on images 00002705, 00002706, 00002707 and 000002708 which are copies of these plans, dated 1741. This sheet shows the Great Hall, with the Chaplain's appartments, infirmary, the Governor's brewhouse, kitchen and stable, the armourer, shot-house, vaults for coal, wood and beer, the oven and 'Bogghouse', with elevations.
