Description:
The plan is probably by Theodore Dury, as he began work on upgrading Stirling Castle (and Edinburgh Castle and Fort William) at the beginning of July 1708. It shows a proposed grand staircase for Stirling Castle, a scheme for transferring the chapel to the north end of the Great Hall, and details of the Royal Apartments.
