This is the second in a set of five plans of Edinburgh Castle, drawn up in 1719 by the architect Andrews Jelfe and the draughtsman Thomas Moore, the others being on images 00002654, 00002656, 00002657 and 00002658. This plan and its companions have been signed by Moore. This sheet shows plans of the Governor's appartments, gunners' appartments, storehouse, cheese loft, a vault and the smith's shop, on various floors, with elevations of some areas.
