Description:
A large scale diagrammatic map of the country to the north of the River Dee, between Crathes and Drumoak, as far north as the Gormack Burn. The map has been cropped on the western border. The main feature of the map are two boundaries labelled 'Ye Lyne of Leys possession' and 'Lyne of Leys clayme'. Several local place names are included, but the streams and rivers are not precisely aligned, so that location of other features is imprecise. The map was compiled by Robert Gordon of Straloch (1580-1661), at an unknown date.
